A leading fashion designer in Thailand with a well-known brand under her own name.”Pichita” is famed for her chic designs which have gained instant success since opening her boutique in 1980.

Born in 1953, Pichita is the daughter of Lumyong Boonyarataphan, the country’s pioneer in the fashion industry and properties of the Rapee Institution of fashion. Surrounded by creativeness. Pichita was totally absorbed in intriguting designs, rich colours and quality fabric, which later inspired her to create her own individual brand.

After graduating from High School at Pensionat Valmont in Lusanne, Switzerland, Pichita attended the
Chambre Syndical de la Couture and later gained a diploma from Jeoffrin Brys, Paris. Later, she trained as a mannequin at Torrente Haute Couture and received a diploma from the Ecole de Mannetien – Mannequin Claude L’Elief, Paris.

In 1980, Pichita joined the Rapee Institution of Fashion to teach design and modeling. In the same year, she launched her fist boutique with designs under the label “Pichita”. The line was exclusive, elegant and stylish. Pichita had made her impressive mark.
